Sunday School

St. Luke's Sunday School Program

September 7th at 9:45am, Sunday school will begin for our new program year. Themes change regularly for children's classes which afford opportunities for everyone to volunteer and assist for a few week commitment with our children.

Sunday School is a ministry that varies from time to time. Our intent is to create an experience of Christian education that is flexible and open to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Sunday School is a reflection of our life's journey as people of God. Every child of God, no matter their age, learns and grows in faith in many and different ways. May God bless our efforts and desire to make St. Luke's a place where all are welcome and God's light shines on our path.

Sunday School Needs You!

In Sunday School, we continue to need folks to serve in a variety of unique and fun capacities. Your commitment to serve would generally be for a period of four weeks. It is not your same old Sunday School. If you have never imagined teaching, this could be for you. If your only gift is artistic talent and you have no young children, this could be for you. If you love to cook, this could be for you. If you love movies, this could be for you. If you have taught before and would like to see what's new, this could be for you. The children of St. Luke's Sunday School will need people to serve as workshop leaders. The children will also need 'shepherds', individuals who have no teaching responsibility but are a 'guide' for a group of children.
