One of the definitions of fellowship is “… a mutual sharing, a group with the same interests…” While St. Luke’s is a place where people gather to worship, it is also a place that people grow closer with their neighbors in Christ. Fellowship activities throughout the year help us form those friendships with people both in our church community and our neighboring community.
Our goal is to provide each member of St. Luke’s with an opportunity to participate in fellowship and activities where the emphasis is on getting to know one another and building relationships by which the ministry of St. Luke’s can be supported. Below are a few of our offerings. Please join us, all are welcome!
“Where two or more are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”
To find out more about how to participate in any of these fellowship activities please contact our Administrative Director: Carolyn Norton at firstname.lastname@example.org
New Year’s Brunch
Following the worship service the last Sunday in December we gather for a pancake breakfast.
Between the 8:30 and 11:00am worship services we host a wonderful Easter Brunch and potluck.
St. Luke’s does potlucks better than others. We host 2 potlucks a year sometimes in conjunction with Children, Youth and Family and Bingo night. Our “Potluck Ladies” have also been known to make an appearance at these functions.
Held in June at the end of Sunday School and the beginning of our summer scheduling.
Wednesday Work Group
Join us before, between or after worship services for a cup of coffee in the narthex. This is a great way to meet others.
