“Lift Every Voice”
Join us to Lift Every Voice on InterFaith Advocacy Day – Tuesday, February 16th.
All faith communities are welcome to join us at United Churches of Olympia – 110 11th Ave SE and at the State Capitol.
Participate in interfaith worship and hear briefings on legislative session and state budget. Meet your legislators and voice your concerns. A $25 registration fee includes advocacy packet, continental breakfast and lunch.

So you can’t make it to Advocacy Day…
We understand that it can be difficult to make it to Advocacy Day. here are a few actions you can take on February 16th or any other day of the year.
On February 16th or any other day, participate in a conference call between your legislators and constituents gathered at a specific time and central location. The WAC and LPPO will attempt to schedule conference call appointments that are requested by a church or churches in your legislative district.
Pray! Pray for your elelcted officials that they make just decisions. mention your legislators, the governor and other elected officials in the prayers of the church during worship services.
Sign Up! Become a FAN on the Faith Advocacy Network. You will be alerted to timely actions you can take and emails you can send to appropriate officials by joining the Faith Advocacy Network at www.thewac.org
Write! Write a letter or send an email to your state representatives concerning an issue that is important to you. You can also organize an “offering of letters” at your congregation. To find your legislators, go to www.thewac.org and click on Find Elected Officials. To send an email, write your legislator’s lastname.firstname@leg.wa.gov (For example doe.john@leg.wa.gov)
