What are worship services like?
We gather together each week to worship God as a community and to express to Him our love, our thanks, and our devotion. Come and be our guest as we worship Him together.
Traditional Worship – 8:30am
The traditional service is a liturgical worship service using settings from the Evangelical Lutheran Worship hymnal, Now the Feast and Celebration, as well as other seasonal liturgies. Hymns are typically drawn from the Evangelical Lutheran Worship. The Lord’s Supper is celebrated, and we invite all who call Jesus Lord to partake.
Informal Worship – 11:00am
The informal worship service follows a liturgical framework of a less formal character. Songs are drawn from a variety of sources with an emphasis on contemporary Christian song-writers. The Lord’s Supper is celebrated, and we invite all who call Jesus Lord to partake.
What do I wear?
No matter what your personal style, you’ll be comfortable at St. Luke’s. If you prefer dressy, business, or casual attire, there will be others dressed much like you no matter when you visit. Sunday mornings are a time when some prefer to dress up a bit, but even if jeans are more your style, you’ll be right at home with us.
Can I meet the Pastor?
Pastor Tom would love to meet you! He is available in the narthex after worship every Sunday morning to personally greet our guests so take a moment to stop and meet him. If you would like a more in-depth visit with the Pastor, please call the church office to set up a time for a personal visit or phone call. The church office is available Monday – Friday from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM at 425-822-7907.
